SSS Mobile (“we”, “application”, or “service”) respects the privacy of students
and authorized users (“you”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use,
disclose, and protect your personal information when you use SSS Mobile to access
academic information, class schedules, examination schedules, grades, attendance
history, student services, announcements, and other academic-related services.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect and process the following types of information:

  • Student Identity Data
    Full name, Student ID (NIM), email address, study program, faculty,
    enrollment year, academic status, and other information required for
    academic administration.
  • Academic Information
    Course information, class schedules, examination schedules, grades,
    Grade Point Average (GPA), completed credits, course registration information,
    academic progress, and other academic records associated with your account.
  • Attendance History
    Attendance records, attendance status, total sessions, attendance percentage,
    and other historical attendance information provided by the institution’s
    academic information system. SSS Mobile does not use device location or GPS
    to perform attendance check-in or check-out.
  • Student Profile Information
    Personal information available through the institution’s academic information
    system, such as date of birth, contact information, address, and other profile
    information required for student administration.
  • Device Information
    Device model, operating system version, application version, IP address,
    device identifiers, and technical logs required for security, troubleshooting,
    authentication, and support.
  • Photos and Supporting Documents
    Photos, images, or documents voluntarily uploaded by users for student services,
    such as student identification card (KTM) requirements or other academic and
    administrative purposes.

2. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

  • Authenticate users and provide secure access to SSS Mobile.
  • Display academic information including schedules, grades, attendance history, and academic progress.
  • Provide student academic and administrative services.
  • Process student requests and academic-related activities.
  • Provide academic announcements and campus information.
  • Support student identification card (KTM) and related services.
  • Improve application performance, functionality, and security.
  • Detect and prevent unauthorized access or misuse.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting.
  • Comply with applicable institutional, legal, and regulatory requirements.

3. Push Notifications

The application may use push notification services, including Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM),
to deliver important notifications such as:

  • Academic announcements.
  • Class and examination schedule information.
  • Academic and administrative updates.
  • Student service notifications.
  • Other important campus information.

Users may manage notification permissions through their device settings.

4. Camera, Photos, and Files

Certain features in SSS Mobile may require access to the camera, photos, or files
stored on your device.

These permissions may be used to allow users to upload photos or documents required
for academic or student services, such as student identification card (KTM) requirements.

SSS Mobile only accesses the camera, photos, or files when required by a specific feature
and after permission has been granted by the user.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or academic information to third parties.
Information may be shared only when necessary with:

  • Authorized Academic and Administrative Personnel
    Information may be accessed by authorized personnel for academic administration,
    student services, verification, and operational purposes.
  • Authorized Service Providers
    Such as cloud hosting providers, notification services, security providers,
    backup services, and technical service providers that assist in operating SSS Mobile.
  • Legal Authorities
    When disclosure is required by applicable law, regulation, legal process,
    or lawful governmental request.

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards
to protect personal and academic information against unauthorized access, disclosure,
alteration, misuse, or destruction. These measures may include authentication controls,
encrypted network communication, access restrictions, logging, secure session management,
and other security measures.

While we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission
or storage is completely secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

Personal and academic information is retained only for as long as necessary to provide
academic services, fulfill institutional requirements, maintain official academic records,
and comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.

Certain academic records may be retained even after a user is no longer actively using
SSS Mobile because such records may form part of the institution’s official academic records.

Technical logs and application diagnostic information may be retained for a limited period
for security, troubleshooting, and system maintenance purposes.

8. Account and Data Deletion

SSS Mobile accounts and academic information may be connected to the official academic
information system managed by the institution.

Users who wish to request deletion of their account or eligible personal information
may contact the institution through the contact information provided in this Privacy Policy.

Please note that certain academic records may not be eligible for deletion when the institution
is required to retain such information for academic, administrative, legal, or regulatory purposes.

9. Student Rights

Subject to applicable laws and institutional policies, users may have the right to:

  • Access and review their personal information.
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal information.
  • Request deletion of eligible personal information.
  • Manage application permissions through device settings.
  • Raise concerns regarding privacy and data protection practices.
  • Contact the institution or system administrator regarding personal information.

Corrections to official academic records, including grades or academic history,
may be subject to the institution’s official academic procedures.

10. Children’s Privacy

SSS Mobile is intended for registered students and authorized users of the institution.
The application is not designed as a service specifically directed toward children under
the age of 13, and access to protected academic services requires an authorized institutional account.

11. Third-Party Services

SSS Mobile may use trusted third-party technologies or services to support application functionality.
These services may include:

  • Push notification services.
  • Cloud infrastructure and hosting services.
  • Application monitoring and diagnostic services.
  • Security and authentication services.

Third-party service providers are only permitted to process information as necessary
to provide their respective services.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes may be made to reflect updates
to SSS Mobile, academic services, institutional policies, technology, or applicable legal requirements.
